No one of our group was paying attention to the wonderful birds of South Africa until I started pointing them out. Then they all wanted pictures and we started looking for birds and animals. Used Tamron 200-500 lens and have upgraded to the 150-600 after this trip.

We found several lions sleeping in the shade and caught this one waking up along the rode back to camp. We drove around him and off into the grass to catch him on camera and ended up with a flat tire. When he came to check out the noise the people closest to his side kept moving toward us. This cute little guy was laying in the sun just enjoying his day until we found him. He let us take a few pictures and then moved on. Used Tamron 200-500 lens and have upgraded to the 150-600 after this trip.

Elephants were so much fun to watch. This one was walking across the plain toward us and would throw water on himself and then wrap his trunk on the tusk. Used Tamron 200-500 lens and have upgraded to the 150-600 after this trip.

The treat was finding a large group of Wild Dogs just before sunset. They were getting ready to hunt and were so much fun to watch. Plus they are just beautiful!!! Got this guy alone just checking our jeep out. Used Tamron 200-500 lens and have upgraded to the 150-600 after this trip.

Just like any human kid, the tiny young zebra wanted to see what we were doing and the adults were trying to keep it hidden. Used Tamron 200-500 lens and have upgraded to the 150-600 after this trip.

The alpha Water Buffalo taking a smell as if to say, I dare you to try anything. This was a large herd who crossed the road in front of us to graze in the grass next to the road. Used Tamron 200-500 lens and have upgraded to the 150-600 after this trip.

Rushing back to camp I saw a dark shape on the road. I yelled and we stopped to find this beautiful, beautiful leopard. They were hard to find during the trip so this was a great surprise. Used Tamron 200-500 lens and have upgraded to the 150-600 after this trip.
